Information analysis Information collection Information supply Control System structure diagram Effects of introducing the traffic control system		Infrared beacon detector heads emit infrared beams in the direction of the road surface.Vehicles are detected by comparing the reflected beams from the vehicle with those from the surface. These beacons are also used in two-way communication with in-vehicle navigation units.
